Night Out on the Town?
True enough, Zack hadn't been joking about going out. For him it's been a pretty long time so why not go all out? The people that had seemed interested all got a message explaining where they we going to be. Someone that Zack thought could use a little social get together got a message regardless if they answered his call out. He isn't sure who all is going to show, but who cares?
All that matters is that he is here at some bar that Cloud has picked out. Friends will be here too, hopefully. They can cut loose a little and have a good time out tonight. If they manage to have a little too much fun... Well then it makes for some good memories and new stories to be retold. Who knows, maybe someone it won't even be remembered in the morning.
(( ooc: but no seriously. do what you want. it's kind of an open mingle sort of thing for anyone and everyone. make your own threads or join in others. sky's the limit for real. ))

She'd interviewed for a place here but she doubted they would accept her. The way the man looked at her during the interview spoke volumes.
She was too shy. Too inexperienced. Too strange. It was okay. It was a good experience all the same in the process of job finding.
Her little drink was just water with a lemon wedge and she may have been delaying leaving. If she went home it would just be the quiet emptiness.

"What's a pretty girl like you doin' here all alone?" Reno asked as he slipped into the seat beside hers.
"WASN'T BAD LOOKING"?!
"I was interviewing for a job, but I'm not going to get it." She smiles but it isn't a regretful one. She understood the reasons why.
"I'm Terra. You're here to um..." She glances at her drink. "...Drink?"
Threadjack ok????
Elena takes the empty seat on the other side of Reno, a bottle in both hands.
"I swear, I take my eyes off you for one second and..."
Elena leans forward to look at the woman Reno was busy putting the moves on and her eyebrows raise slightly. Goodness, she was pretty, green hair and all. She pushes one of the bottles to Reno, giving the woman a little smile.
"Something like that, yeah." She gives Reno a little nudge of her elbow, a small smirk. "Go on, introduce us."
whoops did not see this
A wing-girl or a cockblock? Time would only tell. Reno rolled his eyes but maintained an easy smile.
"Elena, this is Terra -- she was tellin' me about her job interview. Terra, this is my coworker Elena. More importantly, I'm Reno." He grinned.
general open for anyone 8d
For right now, he was pretty relaxed. Glass in hand, Zack was humming a happy little tune. Of course he was tone deaf so it likely didn't resemble anything familiar at all. And was he looking at a cute staff member? Probably.
:v no-longer-dead people club??
Took a breath and walked over after a few more moments of awkward, uncertain hovering. The humming made him smile a little, even out of tune as it was.
"... if you get a new career, it probably shouldn't be as a singer," he offered up as he sat down.
you can be VP
"Could you do better?"
Honestly, Zack knew he didn't really posses any vocal talents. Yet that didn't mean he wasn't going to issue a challenge if someone teased him for it.
yay! Is Aerith the treasurer?
"Maybe." He didn't know, really - wasn't like anyone had had much chance or opportunity to make judgements on his singing ability, and it was a long time ago now that he'd done it for fun with his mom. And that hadn't been about good or bad.
"It's... not that bad, though," he said, meaning Zack's humming. He'd heard worse, but Zack still probably shouldn't try to go for singing as a career.
nah. she is prez
Ah, true. She would definitely be.

Have a ninja. Please don't break him!
So of course, when someone brazenly slung an arm around his shoulders with a 'Whassup?', the ninja was completely taken by surprise and froze, before instincts took over and Nagato violently turned around, trying to shove the offender away. It was either that or stabbing the man in the eye with the paper umbrella.
no promises
"Sorry! Promise no one here's going to bite," he said with a grin.
But I like my ninja :/
Thankfully, the ninja didn't try to attack further, the universal gesture of surrender calming him down somewhat: instead he narrowed his ringed purple eyes, wary. The newcomer had those strange, glowing eyes that marked their owners as 'soldier', whatever that was, and people here spoke of those with a mixture of admiration and fear, and Nagato sure didn't like that mix.
Then the redhead noticed he was staring and slowly blinked.
"... My apologies. I did not mean to attack you, you, hm, you startled me. I hope I didn't hurt you?"
sorry for the delay

"You gonna make a move or what?" he teased, nudging the SOLDIER. "If you ain't careful, some other player's gonna take her right out from under yer nose, yo."
no subject
"What? Like you?" he teased right back. "I don't think you have a shot, man."

Because of course, that could be the only reason Reno wouldn't have a shot. He smirked. Gods, he'd forgotten how fun Zack could be. Sure, there had been a rivalry on the streets between the Turks and SOLDIER (and the general Shinra guard forces...), but things were different off-duty. Zack was different, honestly. The other SOLDIERs didn't really associate outside of their ranks -- though, to be fair, neither did the Turks.
Zack and Cissnei changed that.

closed to old man Cloud
At this very moment, that cute little waitress he had been watching earlier? Well Zack was pretty incorrigible as it was and being inebriated wasn't going to help that. At the current moment he was chatting the poor thing up. He must not have been doing a bad job, considering the girl was blushing and giggling. Thankfully he wasn't being inappropriate, but there were just innocent little touches here and there, indicating some interest.

And the waitress and the giggling and the touches? Yeah that was just the last straw.
Dropping his glass rather hard on the bar, the blonde stalked over and grabbed Zack's arm, giving the waitress a glare.
"Excuse us," he said flatly before he was dragging Zack towards the door. Time to call this night done.
hush child
"Heeeeey!" he huffed, almost alarmed. "We were talkin'!"
you're the child buddy
He's just really, really annoyed right now and he can't even put into words why.
Well. No. He could. But he won't.
He doesn't say anything else as he tugs Zack outside, grip on his arm tight as he starts down the sidewalk.

OPEN TO ALL!
That always hurt.
She sat at the bar in a tank and a pair of shorts, it's to hot for anything else, and waved at the bartender. She didn't care what she drank and she defaulted to whatever was handed to her. Her eyes are directed at the door waiting for one person to enter so she can exact her revenge however that didn't mean she wouldn't bounce up for anyone she knew coming by.
She liked seeing her friends and people who she considered her friends who wanted nothing to do with her.
rubs hands together
He so stuck out like a sore thumb. Zack was also all right with this.
She'll fight you boy
"What's this? You walk in but you don't even say hi? That's rude Zack."
She'll bide her time for the shin kicking. As Yuffie saw it she had all night and she was planning to time it perfectly.
BRING IT SHORT STACK
"I figured, as per usual, you'd just run up to me and save me the trouble!" he grinned. "Glad to see that I was right!"
Although yes, he was a dork. So was this kid, so at least he was in good company.

Perhaps you're an ignorant Streamer; perhaps you're just brave. Or perhaps you don't give a shit.
Come say hello?

So here the clone is, sitting at the far end of the bar, his hair pulled up into a loose ponytail cause of the heat. His gaze is mostly focused on the empty glass in front of him, its contents having been... questionable. Riku just responded with a "whatever" when asked what he wanted so he's not sure what he was served. It might have had alcohol in it. He's not tipsy enough for it to be physically noticeable.
But if anyone wants to see how much a former science experiment can pack away, he might not say no. After all, he's never hit his limit before.
