The day had left Vincent restless. There was little to do as it was simple orientation. Learning the new building, the new rules, the expectations. Hearing people complain to him about appearances, particularly his being too intimidating, too much, that arm, that gun... He would find resolution for at least one of those two thing.
The gun was staying.
But being within ShinRa Electric (now called Technologies, as if some people would forget entirely about its history if its given a different name) provided Vincent with a deep ...nostalgia. That was the correct word for it because he certainly wasn't thinking about the darker aspects of his past.
He thought of Lucrecia. It wasn't ShinRa that caused everything, it was a few people, certain names dashed from the company's history. She made her own mistakes as well. Vincent wasn't sure if it was entirely fair that she spend the rest of her existence sealed inside a crystal.
He'd forgiven her. Her son was gone, her husband gone. Even if she were dead within the crystal it would do her far more of a service to provide her with an appropriate burial. Hojo and Sephiroth had hardly been given their own though their effects on the world were more prominent.
Vincent knew he wasn't going to be the one to open the crystal though. He'd tried. IT required more than what he had at hand, except now he had ShinRa Technologies at hand... only the person he felt he could actually broach the topic with wasn't in the office.
Tseng wasn't entirely difficult to find. Quiet bar, evening spent with just himself and a drink. Vincent could appreciate the aesthetic of it as he sits down, hair freed from the annoying pony tail though still suited up.
"Tseng."
