Hot Damn

The WRO is well aware that people are not happy with the current state of things, but unfortunately it's going to take them longer to get the power lines back up than they expected.

One of the members comes up with a WRO-funded vacation to Costa del Sol. Not only do they still have power, but they have a beach. Everybody loves the beach, and the ones who don't sure love AC. It'll be a gesture of goodwill and an apology for taking so long to make city life bearable again.

So everyone, hop on the free Air Taxi and come to Costa del Sol! Hotel rooms are free for periods of three days at a time, swimsuits are on sale, and they have AC. Really, do you need any other reason?

[ They are sharing a room, after all. After a minute, she finds a spot for the towel and places it on the sand. ]

Have a seat.

[ She has a plan for this... ]

[EYING HER.... That's way too cordial.]

Ah... Suddenly I feel a chill.

[Just saying... She wouldn't neuter a guy on the beach right...]

Maybe it's not as hot out as I thought.

[TURNING AROUND.]

[ Hey. Even Sheena can be friendly. To him. Occasionally. ]

A chill? What the hell are you talking about? It's still hot out here!

[ Neuter? No, she wouldn't do that...

She will, however, move to stand in front of him, blocking his path. ]

Oh, no you don't! Just where do you think you're going? [ He hadn't left her alone about coming here and now he wants to leave? No way! ] You're staying!

[BLOCKED AGAIN... But he huffs a bit.]

...Fine, fine. [...] Just be gentle, hm. I'm an hot commodity. The world will weep if I don't keep my evanescent good looks!

[Probably not the word he meant to use. Probably. Anywho. LOOKING AWAY DRAMATICALLY, red locks falling on his milky skin. There is no shame here. None at all. But he takes a seat on the blanket, legs crossed.]

[ Don't you huff at her, Zelos Wilder.

She stands there, hands on hips, waiting. Daring him to go past her. When he doesn't, she gestures back to the towel.

~~Imperious pointing is so gesturing.~~ ]

Tch. I'm not gonna hurt you, you Idiot! I'm just putting lotion on you!

[ "Evanescent"? Really? He's going to go with that? Hmmmm.

But, she can't help but just stare at him as he makes his dramatic move...

At least he's sitting down now. ]

[Just saying. Probably gonna eat those words. BUT SAYING... Anyways once he's settled on the towel he does at least helpfully lift his hair, the red locks spilling over his hands as he keeps them mostly out of the way.

He should probably cut it short to get with the times, but... For now he just deals with the hassles of it all.]

[ And yes you are going to eat those words because CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. Settling behind him she doesn't start immediately. Instead, she watches him move his hair, her head tilting to the side in confusion. ]

Why didn't you braid your hair? You'd probably be cooler if you did. [ Notice she didn't suggest cutting it. But did she just suggest she liked it long and when he braided it?

Oh look, a few stray strands that she'll just helpfully move out of the way for him. ]

[WOW WHAT IS THIS.... Side glance.]

What kind of look is that on a day like today? A sexy man needs to be wild and free! [And full of bullshit???] ...And I didn't bring any hair ties with me. Wanna lend me yours, hm...?

[ INNOCENT LOOK. Except for, you know, maybe a blush. Boy, is it hot out. ]

Pfft. [ And she points to a man walking by with his hair tied back. ] Betcha he's cooler than you are. [ Yeah...she's not touching that "sexy man" comment. And she means temperature-wise, Zelos.

And if he's not looking when he asks that question, he'll feel the ribbon brush over his shoulder as she passes it to him. ]

You know. Why's she looking at other guys when there's a prime side of beef right in front of her!!! Excuse he's just. Gonna reach back and take that hand holding the ribbon and drag it up through his hair. HE HAS REALLY SILKY LOCKS DAMN IT. Fuck that other guy.]

You want it braided or just tied back?

Hmm... [He looks up at her, something definitely coquettish about his expression.] What do you think looks better?

[ You son of a... She had been giving hints this entire time... But he's gonna make her say it, isn't he? ]

Braided.

[YEAH HE IS. FOOD FOR HIS SOUL.... He does close his eyes for a moment, basking in the small victory here. It's dumb and petty, but. Being noticed... It feels good.]

Ah, well. If my hunny speaks so, how can I refuse~♪!

[Reaching back he'll take her other hand if she doesn't stop him and also slip that into his hair. She's got full control of it now. ...And just maybe that'll be enough to keep her from looking at anyone else. He is a jealous friend, what can he say. He wants her eyes only on him.]

[ She's just gonna put ice down your back later for that, Wilder. She notices him, okay? She can't help it. ]

Tch. Oh brother...

[ But no, she doesn't stop him from moving her other hand--although she's gonna pull the other one out long enough to give him the ribbon to hold so she can start doing what she needs to do. ]

Hold this for me, will you? Or this won't come out right.

[ If he takes it, she'll start finger-combing his hair as she separates it into three parts. If not, it'll be laying on his shoulder. Either way, she has to admit his hair is pretty nice--well, to herself that is.

And for the next several minutes, he gets his wish as Sheena focuses on only him and his hair, unconsciously humming as she does so. ]

[He does take the ribbon, a little surprised she's looking to do it right instead of just rushing through. But then again that is Sheena for you. An hardworker to a fault.]

[He closes his eyes as she works, listening to her. This isn't so bad. In fact it's nice. ...Much nicer than anything he's had in a very long time.]

Hey. What do you think about it here...?

[ True, she's a hard worker, but she also doesn't want to hear him complaining about how bad it looks.

Or so she keeps telling herself.

Her humming becomes a question in response to his as it takes her a moment to come up from just how nice things--between them--are right now. ]

Hmmm? [ She looks around a moment to get her bearings. ] The beach? I like it. It's nice.

[ There's a tone in her voice that suggests it may not just be the beach she's liking. ]
