Hot damn! | OTA at your own peril.
It might have mattered to Laguna more if he wasn't already outside. His hair was up in a high ponytail, arms bare and tank top sticking against his chest a little. He was walking the city, jacket tied around his waist. There was a lot still for him to check out, and it seemed he was one of the few people who wasn't suffering.
The summer was great, who wouldn't want the summer?
Maybe all these people who just lost their air conditioning. Laguna probably wasn't helping by looking genuinely pleased by the warm air.
This was honestly better than lingering inside though, weeping over the loss of cold blowing air.

"What's wrong with your leg? Injury?"

"...so you know, where I come from, people with strange skin colors usually try to take over the world."
Adel certainly had strange skin. And chest. She was horrendously unattractive to look at, despite her strangely broad and masculine chest.
"Oh.. Unfortunately nothing so interesting.. It just.. cramps up, like my body screaming at me for letting words come out of my mouth."

Sunset made a face at the statement of taking over the world. "Well sometimes people with strange skin colors have reasons for it, even if they are flimsy and petty."
She focused on his other statement. "Huh, so is it psychological or do you need actual relief like muscle cream?" He wasn't sick, right? Words hurting him? Sounded psychological.

"Right, right. I mean, I saw a guy with orange skin once, in this little village and that was because all he had to eat were carrots. I swore of carrots for the longest time before I realized you had to ... just. ..."
Stop. Talking.
He presses his hands over his face, cursing himself violently internally. Why? Why did this happen? Why did it always happen?
"... I... I'll be fine once I stop hammering this entire conversation..."
no subject
No, but it was certainly the most awkward. Sunset sighed as she folded her arms thoughtfully. "Is there anything else you want to confess before you dig yourself further?"
Double face palm all the way across the sky!!
"...Back in my world I'm the president of a whole country? I mean, if we're on the subject of weird things that are also true.."
He sighs and lets his hair be free before pulling it back up in the high tail. "So.. Uh.. Were you just out for a walk then?"
Yessssss
"Yeah, I was looking for some engine parts, but I have to build whatever I don't have." said Sunset, lifting the bag.
no subject
"I managed a lot with these cramps!" Okay, no need to get indignant. It was like talking to Kiros again, so that much was comforting.
"What were you building?"
Now, technology he knew. The hands on mechanic stuff was part of being on the field and the fancy stuff was part of being president.
no subject
"And it's a motorcycle, but the engine parts I'm used to aren't a thing here. So I need to rebuild from scratch."
no subject
"Engines aren't too bad to put together. What type of parts are you looking for and I'll see if I find anything while wandering"
He'd been checking in at junk and salvage yards to put things together himself.

Winston would probably scoff at that but that was up to the monkey to question Sunset's taste in tech.
"I'm looking for slip-on exhaust ports right now. I've got the rest of the stuff to make the electrical right now. If you find anything like pistons and other bodywork pieces I'll take em."
no subject
"Kind of a hot day to be hauling metal around though, you'll just burn your hands."
Buuut...
"I can at least show you where the scrap yard that I've been skulking around. Come on, this way." And off up the road he goes.
no subject
At least he seemed to know exactly what she was talking about. Stripper comment aside, he seemed like a honest, if silly man.
no subject
"Here, its up here." He motions and does a short jog. Sweat was sticking his shirt to his back at this point. "See, its huge! I've explored a bit in there."
no subject
"Good job," she said with a grin.
no subject
"Think you'll be good from here or do you need me to help carry things for you?"
no subject
no subject
"Sure!" He rattled it off, then jiggles his, with the little charm rattling. "You can just send a message and I'll add you in."
no subject
With that, she'll be going into the stuff and start looking around for equipment to salvage.
