There had been a lot of strange people coming out of Mideel who qualified as "Streamers" -- and if there really were two Clouds and two Zacks, it meant the Lifestream was accessing other universes or something else weird. Doubles of people didn't exist normally. And people with pointed ears weren't usually from Gaia.
