It was a well meaning laughter, thank you! Zack was only the best friend anyone could ask for!

If the way that Cloud reacted to having his hair ruffled was any indication, he wasn't exactly fine. There were no exasperated huffs or batting at the offending hands. Cloud's attempt to get away didn't really count for much. Really, it spoke volumes to Zack. He wouldn't bring it up unless Cloud wanted to talk about it of course, but if the other needed to talk? Zack would listen.

"Good," he answered. "I worry about you, you know."

Zack spoke the truth. He worried about a lot of people. Rather, he was concerned for their happiness and well being. Cloud had it rough and Zack knew this. He thought about how there were different people they knew running around and wondered how CLoud had reacted to seeing them. Some of that wouldn't be easy to hear, he bet. It wasn't easy for him, anyway.

"Hey, at least you're here. Walking around. Socializing. Amazing. I'm so proud."
