"A guy that looks like me - sort of - won't be missed at all."

Zack knew the offer was coming. It would be silly to assume otherwise. Before he wouldn't have even considered it. Not after everything else had happened. Now? Zack huffed, a grin tugging at his lips.

"Hiring for what, exactly. My skillset is pretty specialized."

He wasn't some scientist and he wasn't about to go back to what he was doing either - even if Zack thought that what he was doing was fine at the time.
