[Riku was made for fighting. Created to be another perfect SOLDIER. Zack's taught him how to fight with both his hands, swords and materia, but guns?
Not so much.
So that's why one of the shooting gallery games takes his interest. It looks like a challenge, and that's something he doesn't mind encountering. The attendant seems nervous at the sight of what looks like a young Sephiroth, but with something of a grin on his face, he actually hands Riku the gun (not without a 'joke' about killing people of course).
It takes a few moments for him to get into a comfortable position and take aim at the targets. Ten bulls-eyes in a row. After a few seconds more, he pulls the trigger.
And in less than thirty seconds, he's hit every target on point. It might not be surprising to those around him, but to Riku? He actually looks pretty surprised at himself. He didn't think that would happen.]
...Huh, must be beginner's luck.
Speed Dating
[Someone clearly had no idea who the hell they grabbed and shoved into the chair, because there is one very bewildered little clone sitting across from you.
Who, despite years of coaching and 'date advice' and all the information that Zack could provide him, has absolutely no game or talent with talking to people in these situations.
I mean, shit. He's blushing and avoiding eye contact already.]
Uh... h-hi?
Job Fair
[Riku had a couple of reasons for coming to the fair. Getting used to this Edge was one of them. Trying to relax was another. Finding a job wasn't exactly his plan, but when he heard of the fair that was going on, he had to at least see what was around. Their allowance would only last so long, and it would probably be harder for Zack to find work than him.
Problem is... it feels pretty tough to find or get someone interested in you when you look like Sephiroth at first glance. Each time Riku approaches a table, all of a sudden the positions are filled up or he's not given any information or they'll babble on something about "please don't kill me" or wishing death upon him.
Suffice to say, it's tiring as hell.
After what felt like the umpteenth rejection, Riku just ends up leaning against one of the building walls nearby and watches the passersby. All he really needs is a chance. No one just seems to want to give it to him.]
